SPECIALIST CDM CO-ORDINATOR SERVICES
The role of the CDM Co-ordinator is to advise clients on health and safety issues during the design, planning and construction phases of a building project.
Jill Thompson of JTConsulting is a specialist CDM Co-ordinator, qualified to advise on all health and safety issues during planning and construction, and to liaise between clients, architects and contractors.
The Construction Design and Management Regulations 2007 (CDM 2007) puts a clear duty on clients to ensure that appropriate health and safety arrangements are in place and acted upon at all stages of the building project, from design and planning through to the completed project. Jill Thompson of JTConsulting is a Registered CDM Co-ordinator with the Association for Project Safety. With over 30 years experience in the construction industry, Jill will ensure your project is handled professionally, overseeing the designing out of safety hazards in the planned construction, maintenance and eventual demolition of a building, helping to reduce the risks to construction workers and providing effective management of budgets.JTConsulting will tailor their service according to the individual requirements of each client, working closely with both the client and the design team.
JTConsulting will:
- Advise and assist the client with their duties
- Notify details of the project to the HSE
- Co-ordinate all health and safety aspects of the project
- Liaise with everyone involved in the project
- Facilitate ongoing communication throughout the project between the client, designers and contractors
- Prepare and update the health and safety file
